1. Who we are

2. Data we process
This website has no forms, user accounts, analytics, advertising tools, or social media plug-ins. If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, organisation, message, and any attachments. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may process limited technical data, including IP address, request date and time, requested page, browser information, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use correspondence data to answer enquiries, take steps requested before entering into a contract, and manage business communications. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns a potential contract and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in responding to other business enquiries. Limited technical logs are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for reliable delivery, security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting.
4. Cookies
This website does not intentionally set analytics, advertising, or preference cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent before placing non-essential cookies.
5. Recipients and transfers
Personal data may be handled by authorised Meldix personnel and service providers that support email, hosting, security, or IT operations, only as necessary and under appropriate safeguards. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use a lawful transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to respond and manage the related business relationship, normally no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required for a contract, legal claim, or statutory obligation. Technical logs are retained for the shortest period reasonably necessary for security and operations, subject to our providers' configured retention periods.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec) at www.ip-rs.si, or with the supervisory authority where you live or work.
